Hi,
What has happened to the Lum and Abner programs? This is what I get when I click on a link from another webpage. Here is the page on the internet archive. http://www.archive.org/compress/LAPREAS1

LUM & ABNER FAN
Quite sometime ago, I uploaded to the Internet Archive, a sizable Lum and Abner file. Fairly soon there-after, a demand was made to the Internet Archive a group of several business'; a group which, I might say, is nothing short of a SCUZZY, lying, thieving bunch of OTR Pirates who appear to be claiming a 're-copyright' on many public domain programs.

Okay. No names need be mentioned, as all 6 of the "Places of Shoddy Makeshift OTR Business'" know who they are. They watch the Internet Archive - download the work that the many true fans have entered - then milk the public for dollars, pirated with the 'labor of love' put out by people other than themselves.

These companies pretend to be OTR fans but are, in truth just money hungry lying scum attempting to make money off of our heritage - a heritage which should (in my opinion) be passed freely to the present & future generations.

I have since re-uploaded several of these so-called 're-copyrighted' programs, and low & behold - these files are still on-line for your listening/downloading pleasure. Grab em while you can!!

You can find a re-upload of Lum & Abner with-in Internet Archive. I have it labeled under: Lum & Abner 180 Eps (plus 2 extra Eps). I have also re-uploaded 3 pages of both "The Couple Next Door" and "Vic & Sade", 2 pages of Amos & Andy as well as a page of Sam & Henry, Burns & Allen ..... etc ....

I'm also in the process of adding back in as many previously removed shows (Skelton-Benny-Lewis & Martin...... etc) as I can - as often as I can. All of these programs can be quickly found with-in Internet Archive, keying into Search: OTR def gp ddh (all media types)

I hope I have been some help to you. :)

Thanks so much for sharing. I've downloaded all the Lum & Abner episodes I didn't already have. I've edited the commercials out of them as well. I like to listen to them one after another on my iPod - they put me to sleep at night.

I've have a lot of episodes stored on my hard drive that I will upload as soon as I figure out how to (I've just joined).

Thanks again. I was so disappointed when the L&A were taken down.

I haven't been able to figure out how to post a large amount of shows yet. If you know, let me know and I'll upload them. I have a ton of them.

I'm looking for the complete "Pine Ridge Project" Lum and Abner programs. I have the three downloads that are still listed on the archive.org site, but would like the complete files.
